1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Deskflo — including the marketing website at deskflo.in, the freelancer dashboard at dashboard.deskflo.in, or the client portal at client.deskflo.in — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
To use Deskflo, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a freelancer, independent contractor, or agency operating legally in India
- Create only one account per person or business entity
- Provide accurate registration information
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet all of the above requirements. If we discover that an account was created by someone under 18, we will terminate it immediately.
3. What Deskflo Provides
Deskflo is a client management and project delivery platform for freelancers. It allows you to:
- Manage clients, projects, tasks, and files from a single dashboard
- Share branded client portal links for project visibility and file approvals
- Generate and manage invoices within the platform
- Log client approvals with timestamps and IP addresses as supporting evidence
- Apply your own branding (logo, colours) to the client portal
Important: Deskflo is not a legal firm. Approval logs provide supporting evidence but are not a substitute for a signed contract. We strongly recommend maintaining formal agreements with your clients. Deskflo is not responsible for the outcome of any client dispute.
Deskflo does not process payments between freelancers and their clients. Subscription billing for the platform itself is handled by Razorpay.
4. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- Do not share your account with others
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at team.deskflo@gmail.com
5. Free Trial
Deskflo offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all platform features. The trial is available once per person or business entity.
- No credit card is required to start the trial
- At the end of 7 days, your account will be paused — not deleted
- You will receive an email notification before your trial ends
- There is no automatic charge at the end of the trial period
- To continue using Deskflo after the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan
- Data created during the trial is preserved for 30 days after the trial ends, giving you time to subscribe without losing your work
The trial is a genuine try-before-you-buy offer. We will never charge you without your explicit consent.
6. Payments & Subscriptions
Pricing
- Early bird pricing: ₹149/month or ₹1,490/year — available to the first 50 users only, locked for life
- Regular pricing: ₹299/month or ₹2,990/year — applies after the first 50 early bird spots are filled
- Early bird pricing, once granted, cannot be revoked as long as the subscription remains active
Billing
- All payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- You will be notified by email before any renewal
Cancellations & Refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods already charged
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at team.deskflo@gmail.com and we will review it fairly
7. Your Responsibilities
By using Deskflo, you agree that you will not:
- Use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the platform
- Impersonate another person or business
- Use Deskflo to harass, defame, or harm your clients or any third party
- Circumvent any security or access controls
You are also responsible for ensuring that your use of Deskflo — including how you store client data and generate invoices — complies with applicable Indian law, including GST regulations where relevant.
8. Client Data & Your Obligations
When you add client information to Deskflo, you are the data controller for that information. You confirm that:
- You have a legitimate basis for storing your clients' personal data on a third-party platform
- You will inform your clients that their approval actions are logged (timestamp and IP address) when they interact with your portal
- You will not add client data that you do not have permission to store
Deskflo processes client data on your behalf and is not responsible for how you use or share that data with your clients.
9. Intellectual Property
Deskflo's IP: The Deskflo name, logo, platform design, source code, and all associated intellectual property belong to Deskflo and its founder. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of Deskflo without written permission.
Your IP: Everything you create and upload — projects, client data, files, invoices, branding — belongs entirely to you. Deskflo claims no ownership over your content. We only access it to operate the service.
10. Uptime & Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events outside our control.
- Planned maintenance will be communicated via email in advance where possible
- We are not liable for losses caused by platform unavailability
- We will make reasonable efforts to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an outage
11. Termination
By you: You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except for approval logs which are retained for 3 years for legal purposes. You can request a data export before deleting by emailing us.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Use, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the platform. We will notify you by email before doing so, except in cases of serious violations where immediate action is required.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Deskflo and its founder shall not be liable for:
- Disputes between you and your clients, regardless of whether approval logs were used as evidence
- Financial losses resulting from platform downtime, data loss, or service interruptions
- Loss of revenue, clients, or business opportunities arising from use of the platform
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Deskflo shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Deskflo is a tool that supports your freelance operations. You remain solely responsible for your client relationships, contractual obligations, and business decisions.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Deskflo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Biswanath Chariali, Assam, India.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as Deskflo evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of Deskflo after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. The current version will always be available at deskflo.in/terms.html.
